<\/p>\nParty D\u00e9cor:<\/span><\/span><\/h5>\n
We began with our colour scheme of green, yellow and orange. From there we\u00a0set about designing the printables that\u00a0brought the theme together.\u00a0 We wanted to keep everything as natural looking as possible so hessian\u00a0seemed like the right choice for the table covers and as accents on the drink bottles and lolly jars.\u00a0For the backdrop to the buffet table we purchased brush fencing from Mitre 10 Mega<\/a>. To bring a balance to the browns, greenery was added in the form of artificial areca palms hired from First Scene <\/a>and large\u00a0artificial leaves as placemats.\u00a0The table setting was\u00a0completed\u00a0with disposable wooden boat plates and cutlery from Disposable Tableware Ltd<\/a>; bright yellow polka-dot serviettes from Pak ‘n’ Save and personalised glass drink bottles.\u00a0 Lastly we added some brightly coloured child sized\u00a0chairs and helium balloons.<\/p>\n
Party Favours:<\/span><\/h5>\n
Each child received\u00a0a Safari Straw Hat and a pair of Binoculars that were personalised with name tags from our Jungle Safari printable collection.\u00a0 Not only\u00a0did the children take these home at the end of the party but they also came in handy for the Backyard Safari Hunt.<\/p>\n
The Entertainment:<\/span><\/span><\/h5>\n
Being that the party was for younger children the usually party games weren’t\u00a0necessarily going to work – so instead it became all about play.\u00a0 To keep costs down we made use of the clients toys and sandpit.\u00a0\u00a0To that we added a play dough station.\u00a0 As the party progressed all the children put on their Safari Straw Hats and grabbed their Binoculars and went outside to search for all the wild toy animals that had been hidden in the garden earlier.\u00a0 Towards the end of the party it was Story time with one of\u00a0our storytellers, who\u00a0read ‘The Jungle Run’ by Tony Mitton<\/a>\u00a0to the children.<\/p>\n

On the menu we had:<\/p>\n

- Jungle Vine Fries (Homemade Curley Fries)<\/li>\n
- Popcorn\u00a0in cones from the Jungle Safari printable collection<\/li>\n
- Bananas<\/li>\n
- Cake Pops<\/li>\n
- Cupcakes displayed with\u00a0wrappers and\u00a0toppers from the Jungle Safari printable collection<\/li>\n
- Jungle Jellies – three flavoured jellies with a crocodile lolly set into it.<\/li>\n
- And 3 types of Jungle themed lollies.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
The buffet was set out on wooden gifts boxes and labelled with labels form the Jungle Safari printable collection.\u00a0 Last but not least, was the amazing cake.\u00a0 This was\u00a0made by Beth\u00a0from All Things Nice <\/a>and was decorated with Animal Figurines <\/a>that were purchased from Toy World<\/a>.<\/p>\n
Summing Up:<\/span><\/span><\/h5>\n
Overall this was a fantastic party with plenty of activities and food for the children to enjoy.\u00a0 I loved\u00a0the way the\u00a0vibrant colour scheme complimented the Jungle Safari theme and how it all came together so nicely on the day.<\/p>\n
