Today I wanted to feature this guest blog from Natalie Bradley, a mentor of mine from the United States. I believe this perfect outdoor wedding is full of inspiration that would work beautifully for any New Zealand summer wedding. I hope you enjoy reading this as much as I did.
This outdoor wedding was just perfect in so many ways. And we planned the whole thing with Mallory, Chris and their families in just 3 weeks. That’s right 3 weeks.
Originally the wedding was in the works for the fall of 2015, but when they discovered a very close family member was diagnosed with a very serious illness, they decided to bump up the wedding significantly. And the result was wonderful!
I will say that not having a lot of time to plan a wedding definitely has its advantages, like making quick and very decisive choices. You don’t have time to be wishy-washy after all! You’ll stay within budget! Because you don’t have months and months to add on all sorts of (possibly unneeded) elements, it’s much easier to stay in budget. The most important people in your lives come…. and those who aren’t as close, well, it’s okay if they can’t make it. And so on…. It truly was lovely in every way.
